By coincidence, he came in the room as I was reading your message so I showed him your work. He also is very impressed and thinks the price is worth it. That is a good first step! He asked if you do large works also, just for curiosity...
hehehe thank syou so much , give him a kiss from me haha yep definally a good step i belive make bigger works would be even easier i never tryed to be honest i had mande smaller one but i felt more confortabel this big iīm sure i could improve much better the face work if i would be a bit larger than this , but for shipping reasons i do this size . and maybe i think this is the maximum size for a believable fairy , also many collectors complain about space , they have a lot of other creatures and wnat add some more so if the suclpt is bigger they have issues to make space .. but for myself ... yes i do wnat try someday
in my web you can see some porcelain painting , www.fairiesndreams.com go to the galleries and than other works
i had many things in brazil basically painting as i sculpt since only 5 years and i started with clay but was paintor since i have 7 and profissional since i had 16 draw make portraits and human figure are my favorites things unfortunally i had al my work sold or in private collections and as i live in spain since 2000 i donīt bring nothing more than some porcelain for my new home in spain i never care to this cause i think i allways can do more until i live hehehe . big hugs
I visited your site and I am more impressed than ever! Your porcelain work is gorgeous and so finely done. Your student's work is marvelous too, you must be a good teacher! Even though I have no intention to craft art dolls, it was fascinating to look through the tutorials. I'm sure they are very helpful to those that do.
I appreciate that though you are a talented artist, you still take the time to talk to those of us who can only admire. That also, is a wonderful thing!
aw thank you so much ! heheh allways is interesting know about how to make the things even if you donīt plan never made yourself nothing heheh many collectors also like to see tutorials ,, they donīt sculpt but they like to know more about hehe
When I saw the thumbnail of this piece I thought "Why this people insist on faking stuff they can't possibly do?" Then I opened your gallery and I was tottally blown away. I was like "woooo" "waaaaoooo" "wuuuuuhhh"
she looks gorgeous!!!! she really reminds me of the other African fairy you made in ur gallery though maybe if you ever make another African fairy, u should give her long dreadlocks with beads or something that would be fun!
